What it is
Lapian Notes is an AI-assisted film breakdown notebook that turns a film into an editable shot-by-shot study notebook. It performs local frame extraction, automatic subtitle matching, and one-click generation of an AI analysis package. After importing the AI results, it produces a story-lane timeline, structure tree, and audience emotion curve. Designed for creators who want to systematically study film narrative. Everything runs locally; film and note data never leave your machine. An online trial version is available in the browser without installation, but lacks local transcoding and automatic subtitle search.

Getting started
