What it is
PPTist (PowerPoint-ist) is a web-based presentation application that replicates most commonly used features of Microsoft Office PowerPoint. It supports editing and presenting slides directly in a web browser. The application is built with Vue 3.x and TypeScript, does not rely on UI component libraries, and allows for easy styling customization and functionality extension. It also supports template-based AI PPT generation and local PPTX file preview.

Use cases
The project is positioned as a web slide editing/presentation application. It is most recommended for building a presentation product different from Office PPT. It can also be used as a foundation for AI PPT generation tools (template-based or direct data generation) and as a PPT file preview tool (suitable for online preview and lightweight review, though pixel-perfect fidelity is not guaranteed). It is not recommended for low-code platforms, H5 editors, image editors, or whiteboards.
