Overview of deja-vu
What it is
deja-vu is a local Go binary that indexes session history from over 40 coding agents (including Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, and Copilot CLI) and makes that memory available to any agent. It reads session data already saved to disk, including months of history from before installation. No LLM or embeddings are required for basic operation; embeddings are optional for semantic recall. The project is licensed under MIT and is open source.
