Overview of vibe-coding-toolkit
What it is
A curated, battle-tested AI-coding toolkit: Claude Code plugins, subagent orchestration, quality gates, and ready-to-copy prompts, extracted from real production use. It is a toolkit of documentation, prompts, and templates with two functions: configure machines and configure individual projects. The code stays in your project; this repository holds the recipe.
Key features
- Documentation, prompts, and templates for AI-assisted development - Claude Code plugins and subagent orchestration - Quality gates and verification mechanisms - Ready-to-copy prompts for starting new projects, configuring existing projects, and setting up development environments - Role-based tools: Superpowers (understand and decide), Ponytail full (build within scope), Caveman (communicate clearly), Subagents (delegate responsibly), RTK (reduce repetitive output)
- Supports Next.js for new projects and preserves existing stack in existing projects
Use cases
- I have an idea: Start a Next.js project using Prompt 11, getting a defined product, official foundation, documentation, skills, and checks.
- I already have a project: Configure or update the foundation with diagnosis, brainstorming, harness, tools, and verified improvements.
- I need to prepare my machine: Environment setup using Prompt 10, handling runtime, agents, global integrations, backups, and manifest.
- I need to solve a specific problem: Modular installation for lint, refactoring, review, context, or a specific tool.
Getting started
Open the agent in the destination directory and paste the appropriate prompt. For a new project: text Read https://raw.githubusercontent.com/soumatheusgomes/vibe-coding-toolkit/main/docs/prompts/11-next-project-bootstrap.md and execute setup in this directory. Project: [name, problem, audience, main flows, and constraints]. For an existing project: text Read https://raw.githubusercontent.com/soumatheusgomes/vibe-coding-toolkit/main/docs/prompts/12-existing-project-setup.md and execute the entire “Prompt” section block in this project, starting with brainstorming. To prepare your machine: text Read https://raw.githubusercontent.com/soumatheusgomes/vibe-coding-toolkit/main/docs/prompts/10-development-environment-setup.md and execute the entire “Prompt” section block on this computer. The agent must have terminal access.
